Fix it Forward: A Helping Hand for Those Who Need It Most

Fix It Forward is We Love Construction's community initiative dedicated to helping families in need with small home repairs and maintenance projects at no labor cost.

What Is Fix It Forward?

Home repairs don't have to break the bank. Whether it's a leaky roof, broken shutters, a stuck window, or a door that won't close properly, small maintenance issues can quickly become big problems—especially for families facing financial hardship, elderly homeowners on fixed incomes, or individuals experiencing unexpected circumstances.

Fix It Forward exists to bridge that gap.

Our skilled team donates labor and time to complete essential home repairs while homeowners provide the materials. Together, we make real repairs that make a real difference in people's lives.

How Fix it Forward Works

Nominate

Know someone who could use a helping hand? Nominate them through our simple form and tell us about their situation and what repair they need.

We Assess

We'll work with the homeowner to assess the repair and determine materials required.

The homeowner is responsible for providing materials for the repair.

We Fix It Forward

Our team handles the labor and expertise. We do the work with the same quality and attention to detail we bring to every We Love Construction project.

Who We Help

Fix It Forward is designed for:

  • Elderly homeowners on fixed incomes

  • Families facing financial hardship

  • Individuals experiencing unexpected life circumstances

  • Disabled homeowners who are unable to complete repairs themselves

  • Anyone in our community who needs a little help getting back on their feet

We serve Blythewood, Columbia, and the greater Midlands area.
